Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Multihive ("Multihive", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Ayub Khan (Proprietor), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website multihive.in and our WhatsApp marketing platform and related services (together, the "Services").
Multihive provides a platform that enables businesses ("Customers") to communicate with their own customers ("End Users") over WhatsApp using Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
- Account & business details — name, email address, phone number, business name, address, and tax/registration identifiers used to create and verify your account.
- WhatsApp Business account details — when you connect your WhatsApp Business account via Meta's Embedded Signup, we receive identifiers such as your WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID) and phone number ID required to send messages on your behalf.
- Contacts & content — contact lists, phone numbers, message templates, campaign content, and media that you upload or create.
- Payment information — billing details processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers).
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken within the Services.
- Message metadata — delivery, read, and reply status of messages sent through the platform.
- Cookies — we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Services.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- To connect your WhatsApp Business account and send messages you initiate.
- To provide delivery, read, and engagement analytics.
- To communicate with you about your account, support, and updates.
- To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. WhatsApp and Meta
The Services rely on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Your use of WhatsApp through Multihive is also subject to Meta's and WhatsApp's terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's Platform Terms. To deliver and optimize messaging, certain message and event data (such as delivery and read status) may be shared with Meta in accordance with Meta's Business Tools Terms. You are responsible for obtaining valid opt-in from your End Users before messaging them.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Meta Platforms, to send messages and operate the WhatsApp Business Platform.
- Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal & safety, where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Multihive, our Customers, or the public.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
6. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. End Users who wish to stop receiving messages can opt out at any time by replying to the sender or contacting the relevant Customer.
8. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. International users
We are based in India and process data in India and in the regions where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such processing.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
